vijay is a soldier in thuppakki and not encounter specialist

The Vijay-Kajal Agarwal starrer Thuppakiis currently in its second schedule in Mumbai and important scenes are expected to be canned this month. Actor Jayaramplays an important role in the film as a baddie.

There were rumours that Vijay’s role in the film is that of an encounter specialist. However sources now say that he is not a cop in the film, rather as that of a soldier.  

The actor, also a good singer, recently crooned a song for the film.
