It seems this is a season of Anthems. Post the frenzy of Love Anthem and Sachin Anthem, here’s an Anthem for Ilayathalapathy Vijay.Vatsan, who played the third lead in the film Engeyum Eppodhum has come up with an Anthem for his favourite actor Vijay. Titled the ‘Thalapathy Anthem’, the song has crossed one lakh views on YouTube.
Vatsan, who is currently acting in his third film, says that he is a big fan of Ilayathalapathy. “Acting is my profession, but music is my passion. I always wanted to do something different in music. As Vijay is my favourite star, I thought of doing something different for the actor.” The song was written, composed and sung by Vatsan along with Dinesh and Amogh.
Vatsan says that his joy knew no bounds, when Ilayathalapathy himself called the team and appreciated their work.
The trio is upbeat that work is in full swing to compose and shoot the next song in the album.
